Stoughton Seniors Enjoy Mother's Day Tea Party
Dozens turned out for the event, held Friday, May 11 at the Stoughton Senior Center

On Friday, May 11 dozens turned out for a Tea Party at the Stoughton Senior Center in honor of Mother's Day.

The ladies (and a few men) enjoyed many flavored teas in beautiful china tea cups and saucers, that had been donated to the Council on Aging.

They enjoyed many courses of food, including cucumber sandwiches, chicken salad with cranberries and scones.

The food was a huge hit and was prepared by Jessica Fraine and her mom. The food was served by various town employees. Janiece Bruce from the VNA had a raffle, with the winner receiving a lovely bag.

Steve Tapper and Audi Bridges provided musical entertainment. Interim Town Manager Joseph Feaster spoke to the seniors and Stoughton's State Senator Brian A. Joyce gave all the ladies a carnation.
